Chicken Salad Chick isn't accepting gifts on its birthday; it's giving them.
On Jan. 26 at Chicken Salad Chick in Fort Worth, customers will get one free scoop of Classic Carol chicken salad.
(More about Carol: "Each of Chicken Salad Chick's 15 recipes begins as the Classic Carol, named for a relative of the company's founder. From there, employees mix in additional ingredients, such as fruits, vegetables and nuts. Salads are made fresh daily," our Tiney Ricciardi reports.) Other orders include the awesomely-named Fancy Nancy and Sassy Scotty.
Though Chicken Salad Chick will celebrate nine years in business, the chicken chain has only been open in North Texas since summer 2016. The Alabama-born company has grown to more than 60 restaurants in its nine years.
More Chicken Salad Chicks are expected to open in Dallas-Fort Worth but for now, there's just one: 8825 Tehama Ridge Parkway in Fort Worth.
