Americano 

The Joule hotel's casual new spot for Italian-American classics will be open New Year's Eve serving a few holiday specials, including house-made fettuccine with Alba white truffles for $28, plus monkfish saltimbocca, honey-braised veal osso buco and lobster fra diavolo. Asian Mint 

This fusion spot off Forest Lane will serve seven dishes signifying seven kinds of luck for the new year. Choose "prosperity" by ordering soft shell crab with crabmeat yellow curry, "new beginnings" with pad prik king with beef, "wealth" with red snapper nuggets with green mango salsa or "longevity" with tempura shrimp with curry noodles. The Dallas-based Mexican restaurant chain will celebrate el año nuevo with a three-course holiday menu available through the weekend. Main-course options include 7-ounce filet mignon with mushroom sauce, bacon- wrapped shrimp with grilled pineapple, and grilled chicken breast with mango- avocado pico de gallo. Dec. 30-Jan. 1. Cedar Grove 

This restaurant in the Ilume building has 24 12-foot treelike figures in its dining room and a farm-to- table-inspired menu. On New Year's Eve, a three-course holiday menu will be served with four options for the main course: pan-roasted sea bass, Jidori chicken, pork duo, and surf and turf with brick-roasted filet and poached lobster. The Crescent Club 

Reunion Tower will ring in 2017 with AT&T Streaming Lights, a fireworks show featuring more than 4,000 pyrotechnics, and Crescent Club on Hotel Crescent Court's 17th floor will be one of the venues with an excellent view of the display. Dakota's Steakhouse 

To enter this downtown restaurant, take a glass elevator down to a dining room looking out into a garden with a waterfall. This romantic and unique spot will serve its regular menu on New Year's Eve along with two entree specials: a 12-ounce bone-in filet for $55 and a crab-stuffed lobster tail for $55. 18th and Vine BBQ 

End the year with a plate of burnt ends and a beer at this Maple Avenue restaurant specializing in Kansas City-style barbecue and jazz. The regular menu will be served, plus there will be hot-smoked salmon, pizza and sliders for $8 each; drink specials, including $4 draft beer and $5 classic cocktails; and live music in the main bar. Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck 

On New Year's Eve, get a 360-degree view of Dallas in Reunion Tower's revolving restaurant and a front-row seat to the fireworks show that will be launching from the tower. A five-course tasting menu will be served from 5 to 10:30 p.m. for $175 per person or $250 with wine pairings. Humperdinks

All four locations will offer $20 three-course dinners with entree options of chicken cordon bleu, blackened tilapia and 8-ounce sirloin. Dessert and a choice of soup or salad will also be included. Humperdinks locations will also have New Year's Eve parties with music, costumes and dancing from the 1970s and '80s with drink specials and a midnight toast. Kitchen LTO 

This "permanent pop-up" restaurant that relocated to Deep Ellum in October will serve a five-course tasting menu by current chef Josh Harmon. Scallop with roasted duck heart, quail roulade and roasted beef tenderloin will be part of the "progressive American" menu. This French spot in Uptown's St. Ann Court will serve a three-course dinner that will start with smoked salmon for the table. NOLA Brasserie

This Cajun and Creole restaurant in downtown Dallas' One Main Place will serve a four-course menu with three entree options: 6-ounce filet with Cajun hollandaise, chicken Florentine and Acadian redfish with crawfish étouffée. The menu will also include a crab and crawfish cake with a fried jumbo shrimp, Ponchatoula strawberry-walnut salad and bread pudding with rum sauce. There'll also be music by Carlos Guedes starting at 7:30 p.m. and a midnight countdown with party favors. Saint Rocco's 

This Italian-American spot in Trinity Groves has a third-story patio with a great view of the Dallas skyline. And on New Year's Eve, dinner guests can watch the fireworks show at Reunion Tower there. Saint Rocco's will serve its regular menu a la carte on the first floor and a four-course family-style dinner on the second floor. The fixed-price menu will be $65 per person and will include starters, salads, desserts and the choice from four entrees: chicken saltimbocca, cheese tortellini with lump crab, bacon-wrapped pork loin and grilled salmon. SER Steak and Spirits 

The Hilton Anatole's New Year's Eve celebration begins with a five-course dinner at Ser on the 27th floor for $120 per person from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. A seven-course tasting menu will be served starting at 8 p.m. for $185 per person, $249 with wine and Champagne pairings. Main-course options for both will include Hudson Valley duck, lamb loin, surf and turf, gnocchi, squab and John Dory fish. At 10 p.m., the hotel will host a three-room lounge party with Champagne, cocktails, desserts, party favors, a balloon drop and a midnight toast. Smoke 

The original Dallas location and the Plano outpost will offer three-course New Year's Eve dinners for $30 with a barbecue board for two as the main course. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, house-smoked bacon, potato salad, coleslaw, pickles and Parker House rolls will be included, plus appetizers and desserts, including pimento cheese croquettes and Key lime pie. Stephan Pyles Flora Street Cafe at Hall Arts  

This modern Texas restaurant, which was just named Restaurant of the Year by critic Leslie Brenner, will mark its first New Year's Eve with a four-course menu from 6 to 7 p.m. for $150 per person, or $250 with wine pairings, and a five-course menu from 9 to 10 p.m. for $175 per person, or $275 with wine pairings. The second seating will also include a Champagne toast and party favors. 2330 Flora St., Dallas. 214-580-7000. florastreet.com. For its first New Year's Eve, this Deep Ellum hot spot will serve a five-course tasting menu that will include dayboat scallops, cured pork belly and flat-iron steak with oxtail ragout. Seatings will be at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. for $95 per person, $125 with wine pairings. Those with reservations are invited to a party from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the restaurant's rooftop that overlooks the downtown skyline. Top Knot 

Uchi's upstairs neighbor will serve a three-course Asian fusion dinner for two. Main-course options will include miso-brown sugar cod, chicken kimchi karaage, scallops a la plancha and Wagyu tataki. For $10 more, choose the restaurant's signature whole fried fish. The Woolworth 

This downtown restaurant and bar is known for its cocktails and house-made infusions and its patio that overlooks the 30-foot-tall Eye sculpture by artist Tony Tasset.
