Pecan Lodge in Dallas is selling smoked meat and sides in bulk this holiday season.
Unless you're a pitmaster, chef or an incredible backyard barbecuer, you probably cannot make brisket that tastes better than Pecan Lodge's.
Pecan Lodge is a barbecue restaurant in Deep Ellum that started as a stand at the Dallas Farmers Market. Customers waited for hours in long lines -- and some still do now at its bigger digs in Deep Ellum.
The big item this holiday is Pecan Lodge's whole brisket, which will cost $135. Owners Justin and Diane Fourton will also sell smoked ham ($89), smoked sausage links ($45) and racks of ribs ($48). Like at Thanksgiving, Pecan Lodge is selling just one side: mac and cheese for $36. It's mac or nothing, y'all.
Customers must order by Dec. 18 at noon. Pick up is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 24. Details here.
