Pecan Lodge in Dallas is selling smoked turkey, ham and brisket this Thanksgiving

Turkey is a Thanksgiving tradition, fine. Smoked brisket -- made by one of the most revered barbecue joints in town -- sounds like a whole lot more fun.

Pecan Lodge in Dallas is again selling turkey, ham and brisket for Thanksgiving this year. It'll cost ya: The company's famous brisket goes for $135 each. Turkey and ham will cost $109 and $89, respectively. But isn't that a small price to pay for your sanity on one of the year's holiest food holidays?

All of the meats are handed off refrigerated, with reheat instructions inside. The owners recommend that customers let the meat come to room temperature before heating in the oven.

The restaurant is also selling sides of mac and cheese for $36. There aren't other side-item options. Think about it, though: Do you go for the steamed green beans on Thanksgiving or do you take a deep scoop of mac? Pecan Lodge's owners must just know their audience.
