The show Beat Bobby Flay pits two chefs against one another. The winner of that battle goes against the famous Flay in a cookoff. It's surely a challenge to beat grill master Flay, but plenty of chefs have successfully done it.

In fact, just a few weeks ago, chef Katherine Clapner, owner of Dallas-born shop Dude, Sweet Chocolate, beat Bobby. She challenged him to make a better devil's food cake in a special Halloween edition of the show, and he couldn't do it.

"I'm going back to Dallas and I get to brag a whole lot," Clapner said on the show.

We'll see if Sadhu earns bragging rights of his own after Thursday's episode. Sadhu is top toque at Cook Hall, the restaurant inside the W Dallas hotel. On Beat Bobby Flay, Sadhu will first go up against Jeremy Nolen, executive chef at a German restaurant in Philadelphia.

UPDATE: Sadhu won! He challenged Flay to make samosas, and a panel of judges found Sadhu's version to be more authentic. Kudos to our local chef.
