How to make your Starbucks drink even more expensive

Back in 2014, a guy in Dallas ordered a 128-ounce drink from Starbucks that would have cost nearly $55 if he didn't have a free drink reward. Outrageous as it might have been, it isn't the most expensive drink ever ordered from Starbucks.

First world problems.

Well, it's 2016, and super-sizing your Starbucks is still very much a thing. You can add pumpkin spice sauce, extra shots of espresso, caramel drizzle and dozens of other dress-ups. You can get it in a giant size -- making Starbucks the coffee equivalent to McDonald's. But of course, you have to pay for those upgrades.

On Thursday, Starbucks made a list of 10 ways to customize your fall beverage. It's basically like a secret menu, made un-secret.

And it's worth restating: It'll cost you.

Pumpkin, pumpkin, everywhere.

Here are a few:

  • Pumpkin chai: a chai latte with the addition of whipped cream, pumpkin spice topping and sea salt topping. Fall, y'all!
  • Salted caramel pumpkin frappuccino: a pumpkin spice frappuccino (yes, that's a real thing, and no, don't even look at the calories) with added toffee nut syrup. Caramel drizzle and sea salt topping go on the mound of whipped cream.
  • White chocolate chile mocha: a white chocolate mocha with two pumps of white chocolate mocha sauce, two pumps of chile mocha powder. Sounds sweet and spicy all at once.
  • Fall iced tea: a Teavana shaken iced black tea "with coconut milk in place of water, two pumps of pumpkin spice sauce, two pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup, and one dried orange slice," according to the blog post. That is one involved cup of tea.
