Deal alert: 58-cent pancakes at IHOP on July 12

If you've been craving pancakes recently (or even if you haven't — it's a pretty good deal) here's your chance: 58 cent pancakes at IHOP on July 12, 2016. Believe it or not, that's only 4 cents cheaper than the 62 cent pancakes cost when IHOP first opened.

Founded in 1958, IHOP is now celebrating its 58th birthday and wants you to join the fun. The deal? Short stack pancakes (three per stack) available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating locations; limit one per person, dine in only.

Now through July 31, guests can also enjoy Paradise Pancakes. The Strawberry Passion Fruit, (cheesecake-layered buttermilk pancakes topped with strawberries), the Banana Macadamia Nut (banana-filled pancakes topped with Butter Rum sauce and toasted Macadamia nuts) and the Pineapple Upside Down (pineapple-stuffed buttermilk pancakes topped with Butter Rum sauce and a marashino cherry) — all complete with whipped cream of course.

"We are proud that for 58 years, IHOP and our franchisees have offered our guests the best, made-to-order breakfast all day, every day," IHOP president Darren Rebelez said in a statement. "Our focus on fresh, innovative food served in a welcoming setting where our guests can create a lifetime of memories with family and friends is apparent in everything we do as a brand."
