Walk into any Verts Mediterranean Grill on June 18 and you can walk out full and happy for the price of free.
The Texas chain is celebrating its fifth anniversary Saturday, which means a free entree for anyone who stops by.
No purchase is necessary. The deal applies to Verts' pitas, wraps, salads and rice bowls with all the fixins. Drinks and sides do, however, cost extra.
Founded in Austin, Verts has grown from a single store near the University of Texas to more than 30 restaurants in the capital, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston and San Marcos. This fall the company will open its first out-of-state location on the East Coast. Its shtick is to provide on-the-go diners with a healthy alternative to fast-food. Verts Mediterranean Grill is offering free entrees from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 18 at all area locations. (Find one near you.) Additionally, the first 25 guests at each restaurant will be hooked up with a swag bag.
