How to get freebies in Dallas on National Doughnut Day -- Friday, June 3

Friday: more like Fri-yay, thanks to National Doughnut Day on June 3.

Let's get right to the free stuff. That's what you're here for, isn't it?

Dunkin' Donuts: Buy a drink, get a free doughnut. Customers can't order a croissant or a square doughnut as their freebie. Find your D-FW Dunkin' here.

Krispy Kreme: Get any one doughnut for free, while supplies last. Customers will be encouraged to donate to the Salvation Army while at the shop. Dallas store is at 5118 Greenville Ave. Find other D-FW locations here.

Or with:

Shipley Do-Nuts: Get a free glazed doughnut, no purchase necessary, from participating locations. Shipley at 10332 Ferguson Road, Dallas, is participating. Find other D-FW locations here.

Hypnotic Donuts: While everyone won't get freebies at these popular East Dallas and Denton doughnut shops, owners will randomly hand out whole boxes, no charge. Cross your fingers that your box has a smiley sticker on it and you're one of the lucky ones. In Dallas: 9007 Garland Rd. In Denton: 235 W. Hickory St.

Glazed Donut Works: This Deep Ellum shop has a busy day at a closed-to-the-public event where they're handing out more than 1,000 doughnuts to veterans. For you, though, there's still some sweet news: Head to Glazed Donut Works on Elm Street in Dallas for a free cinnamon-sugar cake doughnut while supplies last. Hours are 7 to 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Glazed Donut Works might be your only option for free late-night doughnuts on #NationalDoughnutDay. 2644 Elm St., Dallas.

Jarams Donuts: This shop in Far North Dallas is giving away two croissant doughnut holes for anyone who spends $10 or more. Croissant doughnut holes sound yummy, right? 17459 Preston Road (between Campbell and Frankford), Dallas.

If you can keep an open mind about what 'doughnut means' ...

If you're thinking 'this bagel doesn't look like a doughnut,' you're right.

Einstein Bros. Bagels is also getting in on the June 3 fun.

The company will deliver free bagels from 9 a.m. to noon on June 3 via UberEATS in downtown Dallas, Uptown, the Design District and the Oak Lawn area. The freebies are Einstein's cream cheese shmear served with new "twist n' dip" bagels, which pull apart. Interested? Select "Einstein Bros." in the UberEATS app the morning of June 3.

And Tiff's Treats is handing out free ice cream cookie sandwiches June 3 from 7-9 p.m. in Richardson. (This freebie has nothing to do with National Doughnut Day. We just thought you might want to know!)

The freebies are part of a block party at the Richardson store at 720 E. Campbell Road. Tiffwiches are made with two warm cookies on the outside, cold vanilla ice cream on the inside.
