Hot spot in West Dallas gets praise in 'Garden & Gun' magazine

As far as retro hotels go, many Dallasites agree Belmont Hotel in West Dallas ranks up there with the best of the quirky-cool. South-proud Garden & Gun magazine will feature the hotel in its June/July issue as one of the best reimagined inns for travelers.

The issue lands on May 24.

Says Garden & Gun of the Belmont Hotel in Dallas and its affiliated restaurant and bar:

It's all part of G&G's "Great Southern Road Trips" story. Other Texas hot spots mentioned in the story include the retro-chic Thunderbird Hotel in Marfa; the Stonehenge of cars at Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo; and the historic dance hall in Luckenbach.
