Flower Mound resident David Hooper didn't even have to do a song and dance to receive $500 worth of free cheese fries from Snuffer's Restaurant & Bar. All he did was enter a contest via email, and voila: There is such thing as a free lunch.
"I was wondering if it was a set up or something," Hooper says. "You can't be too sure these days."
Hooper will receive a $500 gift card, which is more than enough to order one large order of cheddar fries ($7.99) each week for a year. And good thing: Hooper says he sometimes skips the fries altogether if he's not with a big enough group; they're too large to eat alone.
But if they're free? That's a different story. "I love the cheese fries," he says. "... And now I don't need [a big group] to order them."
