We've rounded up five recommendations for thirsty readers. For the scoop on hundreds more drink specials, visit guidelive.com/night-life.

Kenny's Restaurants

To celebrate Kenny's new barrel-select tequila, bartenders from all five Kenny's restaurants participated in a contest to create the best recipe for a cocktail using Barrel Select Patron Reposado Batch 140. The winner was Katie West of Kenny's Wood Fired Grill, whose concept has a magical feel. Borrowing its name from the Harry Potter movies, the Expecto Patronum features the small-batch tequila, lemonade, cucumber, basil leaves and simple syrup. It's now served for $10 at all Kenny's restaurants: Kenny's Wood Fired Grill, 5000 Belt Line Road, Addison; Kenny's Burger Joint, 1377 Legacy Drive, Frisco, and 5809 Preston Road, Plano; Kenny's Italian Kitchen, 5100 Belt Line Road, Addison; and Kenny's Smoke House, 5760 Legacy Drive, Plano. kennysrestaurantgroup.com/restaurants.

On Rotation

Ever wonder what happens when rotators reach the end of their rotations? At the cleverly named taproom and growler filler On Rotation, nearly empty kegs are discounted on Wednesdays to "clean the slate" before a new lineup is introduced on Thursdays. Pricing for Clean Slate beers drops to $3 a pint ($2 for 8-ounce half-pours) and discounted growler fills are $3 (16 ounces), $5 (32 ounces), $9 (64 ounces) and $18 (128 ounces). As a bonus, if your pint finishes off the keg, your beer is free. 7328 Gaston Ave., Dallas. on-rotation.com.

The Dubliner

The Greenville Avenue staple hosts an Irish whiskey tasting on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m., and the price is a big draw. For $25, you get four whiskeys, each paired with a small plate. Whiskeys featured are Redbreast 12 Year, Tullamore Dew, Jameson Black Barrel and Black Bush. If that's not enough whiskey for you, each food item is concocted using the spirit. Reservations required. 2818 Greenville Ave., Dallas. dallasdubliner.com.
