Doritos makes rainbow chips to help LGBT cause It Gets Better

In conjunction with Dallas Pride this Sunday, Plano-based Frito Lay announced today a colorful addition to the Doritos brand: Doritos Rainbow.

Doritos, which is a sponsor of Dallas Pride, has partnered with the It Gets Better Project to introduce the rainbow chips. It Gets Better, in case you don't know, is an initiative to help support LGBT youth around the world.

"Time and again, our consumers have shown us, there really is nothing bolder than being true to yourself and living life to the fullest," Frito-Lay's chief marketing office Ram Krishnan said in a statement. "With Doritos Rainbows chips, we're bringing an entirely new product experience to our consumers to show our commitment toward equal rights for the LGBT community and celebrate humanity without exception."
