SausageFest is back for another day filled with the best things in the world: meat and beer.
The festival returns on Aug. 1 to Main Street Garden in downtown Dallas and attendees can come to taste the varied sausage selections -- vegan sausage, anyone? -- and participate in the many festivities and events. There will be sausage-themed games, a dunk tank with local police and firemen to raise money for the Guns & Hoses campaign, mechanical bull-riding and performances from DJ Melissa Richey, 105.3 The Fan's Ben and Ski, Moon Waves and the Velcro Pygmies.

Other than the sausage and the sausage-related events, watch out for the celebrity guest: Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel. That's right. Water-skiing squirrel. And yes, Twiggy will be water-skiing at SausageFest.
Tickets are on sale now for $15 at sausagefestdfw.com, but can also be purchased at the gate for $20. Attendees must be at least 21 years old.
