Greenville Avenue Pizza Company is launching the wackiest hot dog creation you'll hear about all day. And that's sayin' something, because it's National Hot Dog Day.
They're selling the Plate Lunch Special: a pizza topped with hot dogs, sloppy joe mix, corn, mashed potatoes and broccoli. We can't help but think it sounds like a mish-mash of lunch from 2nd grade, all piled on one pizza.
The pie will be available from 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 23 to 3 a.m. Friday, July 24. It comes by the slice ($5), or by the pie ($14 or $18).
We can't be sure if this is a good idea. But we do know this: It makes mustard and relish hot dogs seem boring on National Hot Dog Day. It even makes Pizza Hut's odd hot dog pizza seem humdrum.
