Can't get Taco Bell delivery in D-FW? Here's why

Taco Bell launched delivery service in select cities, Dallas included. The Dallas Morning News confirmed that burritos can, in fact, be delivered right into your hands without driving anywhere. But many of you sent us useful feedback: According to the website, Taco Bell wouldn't deliver to your home or work location.

The taco company says it will offer delivery from just 11 fast-food restaurants for now -- 7 in Dallas, 3 in Plano and 1 in Carrollton.

If you don't live or work in Dallas or near the Dallas North Tollway, you may be out of luck for now.

A delivery service called DoorDash has partnered with Taco Bell to bring you your Tex-Mex fix. The DoorDash algorithm calculates how close you are to their delivery areas as well as how close you are to a Taco Bell that offers delivery. That's why not all areas of D-FW are being served right now.

The areas DoorDash currently delivers to include: downtown Dallas, Uptown, Highland Park and University Park, Oak Lawn, Lakewood, Upper and Lower Greenville, Lake Highlands, Preston Hollow, Far North Dallas and West Plano.
