Map your next beer on Greenville Avenue after Dallas' St. Patrick's parade

If you're like the other 100,000 people who attend the St. Patrick's Parade on Greenville Avenue at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, the fun hardly ends after the last float goes by. Now it's time to head south on Greenville Avenue and park yourself at your favorite bar.

JELL-O shots, pints of Guinness and glasses of Jameson Whiskey will be on hand at almost all of these haunts.

The Nodding Donkey:

Opens at at 8 a.m. Limited menu of pizza and corn dogs.

World of Beer:

Opens at 8 a.m. $3-$4 canned beer and draft beer specials.

Barley House: 

Opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast tacos and Bloody Marys. Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band plays at 1:30 p.m. Pitchers of green Lonestar beer are $11. Rowdiest folks should head to the parking lot party.

OT Tavern:

Opens at 9 a.m. Multiple DJs. Beer and shot specials, plus green beer.

Granada Theater:

Bars and patio open during the day. Joshua Radin concert begins at 8 p.m. for $30.

Sundown at Granada: 

All beers will be on special. Reggae on the rooftop starts at 1:30 p.m. and features David Willingham Project Project, Sing Kumba & The Mystic Heights (at 3:30 p.m.) and DF Dub Allstars (5:30 p.m.). Inside, music begins at 2 p.m. with The Hilltop Crawlers, then The Yaga Yagas (4 p.m.);  Future Funk Lounge with DJ Mikey Rodge and Black Market Pharmacy (6 p.m.), Gravity Feed (9 p.m.) and Gravy (11 p.m.).

San Francisco Rose:

Opens at 8 a.m. Karaoke begins at 7 p.m. $5 cheeseburgers and $5 turkey legs all day. All beers will be $5 to $6. Fireball and Jameson shots go for $5.

It's $10 to get into the block party. A 20-ounce draft green beer costs $6. Bars may have their own specials if you go inside each establishment. The party runs 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. No cover charge to go into bars once in the block party. There will be three stages with music. Streets open for traffic at 8 p.m. Free shuttle bus drops off nearby.

Libertine

: Opens at 10 a.m. JELL-O shots cost $3 and pints of Guinness will be $6.

The Old Crow:

Opens at 9 a.m. $2 for one JELL-O shot, or $3 for 5.

Crown and Harp: 

Live music begins at noon and goes all day. No cover. Guinness pints will be engraved for free, while supplies last.
