BvB Powder Puff Football

Texans love to watch football, whether it's played by pros or pee-wees. All the better, then, when it's being played for charity. This weekend, BvB Dallas -- the BvB stands for Blondes vs. Brunettes -- is hosting its ninth annual powder puff game to raise money for Alzheimer's disease; in its history, the group has raised more than $2.3 million for the cause. More than 200 young professionals, each of whom has a $1,200 fundraising goal, will hit the Cotton Bowl for the largest powder-puff game in the country. After the game, an after-party will be held on the front steps of the stadium.

  • Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl, 3750 The Midway, Dallas. $25 donation covers entry to game and afterparty.
