Juneteenth Gospel Night and Parade 

Celebrate Juneteenth in Denton with live gospel music on June 17. On June 18, check out a parade from the Civic Center to Fred Moore Park, where there'll be a softball tournament, games and a DJ as well as vendor booths.

Juneteenth Fashion Show Celebration and Parade

During this two-day fest in Grand Prairie, youth members of the community sport different outfits of their choice and viewers can enjoy free fried fish and live music on June 17. Festivities on June 18 include a parade, free barbecue, games, giveaways, performances, free swimming and a dance contest open to the community at Tyre Park.

Fashion show and fish fry June 17 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Dalworth Recreation Center, 2012 Spikes St., Grand Prairie. Festival June 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tyre Park, 2327 Tyre St. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Bell replica at City Hall, Northwest Third and Church streets. Free.

Juneteenth Black Expo of Dallas Festival

The Fair Park celebration of Juneteenth is approaching its 70th anniversary. In addition to food, games, animal displays and live entertainment, the festival will also feature an expo of black-owned businesses.

The Fort Worth celebration begins on June 17 with a prayer breakfast featuring the Rev. Walter McDonald as a speaker, as well as a City Hall Commemoration Celebration and a parade. On June 18, check out the Freedom Fest 5K; a hip-hop concert and an R&B and jazz concert; bounce houses; car shows; video game trucks; food trucks; and more.

Juneteenth Unity Festival

Dallas Southern Pride, host of Dallas Black Pride, will hold four parties in one day at Bungalow Beach Club. General admission includes the Formation Pool Party, the Juneteenth Day Party and the Juneteenth Unity Festival; tickets for the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Ball are sold separately. Check out headlining performers Big Freedia, Beatking, Keke Wyatt and more.

Best Southwest Juneteenth Celebration

DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster and Duncanville are banding together to celebrate Juneteenth with food, music, arts, crafts and more. Performers include Bandan Koro, the DeSoto High School Choir, the Inspiration Band and the R&B group After 7.

Juneteenth Celebration

The Martin Luther King Jr. Center is hosting a celebration of freedom including vendors, food trucks, games, bounce houses, free food for kids 18 and younger and giveaways. Entertainers will include the PADC Girls, singer Raiii, dancer Sunflower, Over the Hills Blues Band and more.
