St. Paddy's Pickle Parade and Palooza

They call it the world’s only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade and Palooza, so you should probably be there if you love pickles. Expect a 10K, 5K and kids fun run, along with costume and dance contests. There also will be a kid’s playground, food vendors, community stage and marketplace. The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders will make a special guest appearance. There’s a new pet parade on Oak Street at 11 a.m. The pickle parade steps off at 1 p.m. with plenty of green pickles, the red-wigged Pickle Queens and the World Famous Wheelie-ing Elvi mini-motorcycle riders.
