The craft beer community isn't known for being the fanciest bunch, but you would have never known that from surveying the room at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel Friday night, where scores of industry folk and craft beer lovers congregated for the Brewers Ball.
This black tie beer festival made an appearance during NTX Beer Week for a second year, inviting 40 craft brewers and some of their rarest beers to Dallas. One of the biggest attractions was Utopias, a specialty Sam Adams brew that goes for $200 at retail stores. (It even comes in a gold vessel shaped like a brew kettle.)
