Founded by restaurateur Brent Tipps of BoomerJack’s fame, Sidecar Social will be a go-to for adults come Aug. 19.
At 20,000 square feet, the space is set to be an interactive social lounge with games, karaoke, live music, a scratch kitchen and a set of bars. It’s located in Addison’s Village on the Parkway, and Tipps says it’s the only place like it in the area.
It’ll be a place people can stay for hours, he says. Some of the amenities Tipps says will grab people’s attention include karaoke with a live band, larger televisions for watching games, shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong, a dog-friendly patio and more. And patrons won’t have to worry about grabbing quarters before hitting the games, because they’re free.
Tipps says they’re also pairing up with Operation Kindness, the largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas, to host events like adoption days.
Large groups can start booking parties from 20 to 750 people. Tipps says they already have bookings for Texas-OU weekend and Christmastime. Parties can be booked at sidecarsocial.com.
