Dallas is No. 1 when it comes to "the most festive cities of 2017," according to a website.
Thumbtack connects consumers with service providers, such as people in need of a Santa or someone to hang their holiday lights.
In fact, that's how Thumbtack came to its conclusion that Dallas lights up the night. The formula included how many Santas have been hired and holiday lights installed to end up with a top 10 "based on number of Thumbtack requests."
A drive around Dallas is all you need to confirm that the city may indeed deserve this title. It seems every house is ablaze with lights. And Santa is everywhere.
Texas ruled the roost. Houston landed in second place.
The rest of the top 10, in order: Los Angeles; Denver; Phoenix; Sacramento, Calif.; Minneapolis; Atlanta; Chicago; and Philadelphia.
