9 wonderful(ly terrible) Dallas skyline pictures made in MS Paint

Monday began a real bummer for computer users of a certain generation: MS Paint was, supposedly, being killed. After 32 years of dutiful service as "that free program I can draw with," Microsoft announced that it would not include Paint in the next Windows 10 update. Meaning that if you buy a brand new Windows PC next year, Paint will not be pre-installed.

The death toll was a bit premature, however. After the internet exploded with messages of #RIP MS Paint, Microsoft leapt to clarify that the "original art app" is "here to stay." It's just being moved. It will be available in the digital Windows Store to download for free.

But that roller coaster still made us feel a lot of emotions about Paint, and we needed to channel them into something creative. So these are the best (?!?) attempts from some GuideLive and Dallas Morning News staffers to draw Dallas' beloved and award-winning skyline in MS Paint.
