Farewell, Valley View Center: 15 things we'll remember about you

As Valley View Center continues its long goodbye , it might feel like a little piece of your childhood is slipping away. Demolition has started on the once-bustling mall, which was built in 1973 in North Dallas.

The ball was at Valley View for area boy scouts and cub scouts to add to it. Dallas was one of 50 stops in the U.S. and Canada.
