Our very own Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens was named one of the 15 top ("most breathtaking") gardens in the world by Architectural Digest. Makes you feel a little guilty about not going a little more, doesn't it?

Other gardens on the international list include locations like the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles, the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in Cape Town and the Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens of Thailand; five continents were included.

This isn't a first for the Dallas Arboretum, either. It's been awarded the 2016 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, named one of the top 10 best Botanical Gardens in the United States by USA Today and as one of the 10 Best Floral Festivals in the country by Bloom.

Architectural Digest praised the downtown skyline views and the "thriving ferns and azaleas," but Dallas residents have found plenty more to praise on Instagram.

The arch, for instance, is iconic.

And it's beautiful in all the different seasons.

You never know what you'll find if you explore a little bit.

You definitely won't want to miss the animals.

It's a great place to take wedding pictures.

(Or engagement photos).

And if you get bored, you can always bring your phone for some Pokemon Go

And here the 'tween shall meet. #dallasarboretum #pokemongo

Or you can snap a picture with one of the eight Great Contributor's statues (available through November 27, 2016).

And if you just want to sit and enjoy the view, well, there's plenty of places to do that as well.
