Editor's warning: This post may cause FOMO.

The crazy cat lovers of Dallas-Fort Worth congregated in one place this weekend -- Dallas' first cat cafe. The cafe popped up at the Cat Connection pet supplies, grooming and boarding store Saturday, welcoming more than 600 people who played and cuddled with several furry felines.

While there's plenty of fun and downright adorableness to be had at a cat cafe, the point is also to find these fur balls forever homes. Operation Kindness hosted 10 cats on-site, one of which was adopted by a family, says Errin West, co-owner of the Cat Connection. Two others have applications in and may be adopted in the next couple days, she says. And Operation Kindness raised more than $1,000 in donations.

How can you resist these faces? Just look at them!

At this point, we understand that you likely have major FOMO if you weren't there. Don't worry! The Cat Connection pop-up cat cafe will return every Saturday in August with even more kitties. And West says if the events are successful, she may consider making every Saturday a true Caturday.

Cat Connection will be working with DFW Purebred and Domestic Cat Rescue (August 15), Texas Cares (August 22) and City of Farmers Branch (August 29) to provide animals. The store offers complementary expresso drinks and pastries for patrons.
