It's cold! 9 sunny photos to warm you up

Hum a Jimmy Buffett song and you might just be able to transplant yourself to a chair on the beach, drink in hand, working on your tan. But take one look outside and, clearly, summer is a long way off.

I asked Dallas Morning News photographers to point me to some of their favorite warm-weather photos. Some were actually shot in the summer; others illustrate that summer sometimes comes early in Texas. We can dream, right?

Hopefully this will warm you up as you brace for another cold one in North Texas.
