I'll admit, I'm not great at keeping up with celebrity romances. The famous people I follow on social media are more likely to appear on a 40th anniversary tour than the cover of Us Weekly. But, I also peek in on Game of Thrones cast members from time-to-time.

That's how I already knew that Sophie Turner is recently engaged. The actress, who has portrayed Sansa Stark since the hit HBO show's 2011 debut, posted a photo Sunday on Instagram of her lovely pale hand wearing a sizable-yet-tasteful ring with the caption, "I said yes."

Good for her. I scrolled on.

I said yes.

What I didn't know, or feel the immediate urge to Google, was the rightful owner of the other hand in the photo.

But, Twitter helpfully ensured I found out a little less than 24 hours later. It's one of those guys who were in a boy-band that was also a Disney show sometimes, and they sort of grew up in North Texas for awhile. No, not that one. The older-middle one.

Oh. Huh. Something seems strange ...

You weren't the only one:

That's right. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. It's a thing. May the ceremony turn out nothing at all like Game of Thrones' weddings. (Well, except for the stunning attire.)
