Demi Lovato to release a docu-series on YouTube

Grand Prairie-raised singer Demi Lovato is one of seven celebrities who will get their own YouTube series this year.

I Am: Demi Lovato will give fans a peek behind the curtain in the making of her latest album, Confident, as well as an intimate glimpse into her personal growth over a year as she uses "her voice and star power to influence change in issues important to her," says a statement. It will be available for viewing on ad-supported (read: regular) YouTube, so fans don't need a YouTube Red subscription to watch.

"This past year has been one of the most transformative years of my life, and I'm looking forward to bringing my fans on this journey of continued growth and self discovery in both my music and my personal experiences," said Lovato in a statement.
