Dallas-Fort Worth shoppers, here’s when stores and malls will open on Black Friday

If there’s a deal you’re after, remember that it’s probably available online or will be when stores open on Black Friday.

Retailers scaled back their wild holiday shopping hours even before the pandemic, and since then the hours stores are open have been cut back even more.

Stores and malls have discovered they can open an hour later and close an hour or two earlier without inconveniencing shoppers or hurting their businesses.

This year it feels more like a normal Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday long week. But don’t expect to be shopping at 12:01 a.m. Friday at Town East Mall or around the clock at Allen and Grand Prairie Premium Outlets.
