Wingstop to move headquarters from Addison to Dallas

The restaurant operator and franchisor plans to take space in a high-rise along North Central Expressway near Uptown.

Wingstop Inc. plans to move its headquarters south from Addison to Dallas.

The high-growth franchisor and restaurant operator will lease a 112,000-square-foot space in One West Village, the office building formerly known as the Richards Group building that sits along southbound North Central Expressway.

“At Wingstop we have our sights set on becoming a Top 10 Global Restaurant Brand and we believe our people are our competitive advantage,” said Donnie Upshaw, Wingstop’s senior vice president, Corporate Restaurants, and chief people officer.

It currently has offices at 15505 Wright Brothers Drive near Addison Airport. The company, which is publicly traded on the Nasdaq, purchased the 78,000-square-foot building in 2019 for $18.3 million to serve as its corporate headquarters.

“The Dallas area has been our home for nearly 30 years and we are excited about our new headquarters in the heartbeat of Dallas in Uptown, which positions us for the next phase of growth for our brand,” said Upshaw.

The company will take the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th floors with a 13-year lease term. Corgan has been tapped to design the company’s square footage.

Investment and operations firm OliveMill Holdings acquired One West Village in 2022 in partnership with Dallas’ Hunt Realty Investments and New York’s Angelo, Gordon & Co.

With TRG Inc.’s move to Deep Ellum, OliveMill announced plans to give the 18-story, 240,000-square-foot high-rise a facelift. Gensler was tapped for the redo at 2801 N. Central Expressway.
