Paycom is planning a second building at its Grapevine campus

Oklahoma-based payroll and HR software firm plans to grow its North Texas operations.

Payroll processing firm Paycom is planning to grow its Grapevine campus with construction of a new building.

Last year the Oklahoma City-based firm opened a 150,000-square-foot operations center built to house 1,000 employees.

Now Paycom is now eyeing construction of a second, 4-story, 118,000-square-foot office building at 3489 State Highway 121 in Grapevine, planning documents filed with the state show.

The more than $27 million “precast concrete and steel framed office building” would open in 2025, according to documents from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.

Paycom bought the land for its Grapevine campus from the city, which provided $5 million in tax incentives.

The office center is across the street from the North American headquarters for Japanese tractor and equipment manufacturer Kubota.

“We’ve invested heavily in Grapevine and plan to grow our roots here for decades to come,” CEO Chad Richison said last year when the first Grapevine building opened.

The Grapevine office is Paycom’s second largest employment center after its 150-acre headquarters campus in suburban Oklahoma City.
