Every month for the past eight months, The Collective Brewing Project in Fort Worth has designated one Saturday a month for Beer Yoga. In celebration of North Texas Beer Week, a special edition of Beer Yoga happens this Saturday, featuring The Soulful Gypsy Boutique for any yogis wanting to flow, sip and shop. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The yoga flow gets going at 12 p.m, followed by beer flowing from taps from 1-2 p.m. The $20 admission secures your spot at the class and 2 pints of beer. BYOM: bring your own yoga mat.

Rumor has it that Karmany Yoga in Fort Worth hosted wine-themed yoga classes. Rumor becomes reality this Friday though, when the Fort Worth location hosts "Vinyasa & Vino" at 5:30 p.m. Instructor Jeanne Lamb will lead the class in 65 minutes of soft vinyasa flow, followed by a guided meditation and a guided direction toward the the wine they'll have for post-yoga imbibing. Crackers and cheese will also be offered to tide yogis over until dinnertime. Cost of admission is up to you since Karmany Yoga is a donations-based yoga studio, asking visitors to give what they can.

Want more beer- and wine-yoga classes in D-FW? Say so this weekend at one of these events or shout out to other local drinking establishments that have hosted similar events in the past.

In the summer months, Lost Oak Winery has hosted "Yoga in the Vineyard" on the winery property. Sip Wine Bar & The Cup Espresso Bar has also hosted wine-themed yoga classes, and Martin House Brewing Company held "Yoga and Beer" in early October. If you haven't already, check out one of these local venues and let them know that you'll nama-stay a little longer if there's yoga involved.
