Here's your chance to try Deep Ellum Brewing's collab beer with Jameson whiskey

Everyone's gone gaga over the thought of Deep Ellum Brewing Co.'s Local Legend Jameson Edition, a beer brewed in collaboration with the Irish whiskey distiller. But there aren't a lot of chances to try this very limited 8-percent alcohol by volume stout aged in Jameson whiskey barrels. This week, however, came word of a beer dinner featuring Local Legend as the brew of honor.

John Reardon and Jeremy Hunt, founder and head brewer at DEBC, respectively, will be on hand to answer questions about their brewery and beers. The operation is spearheading a suit against TABC, and also opening a distillery. These guys have a lot to talk about!
