Three Sheets in Uptown closed

Three Sheets, the living room-style bar with lots of TVs in Uptown, has closed. Crews recently removed patio furniture and the Three Sheets sign.

A note on the door signals a recent visit from the State Comptroller's office regarding "an important tax matter" in March. Owner Patrick Tetrick says the building was a difficult layout and the bar got saddled with unexpected fees.

"We'd rather walk away and find a space more suited to our profile," he says. Tetrick and his team are shopping in Uptown for another location for a Three Sheets bar.

Tetrick also operates Three Sheets bars on Ross Avenue in Dallas and near Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall. He has plans for an extended patio at the Ross Avenue bar.

The now-vacant building in Uptown is located near a busy block on McKinney Avenue that houses the Standard Pour and Avenu Lounge. The wine bar across the street, Vino 100, recently closed.
