Stone Cold Steve Austin on who would win in an Oklahoma drill between him and The Rock

Former WWE wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin held a fan chat recently with SportsDayDFW.com. Here are some highlights.

On why he is adament that he will not wrestle again:

Austin: "I think WM 19 no one knew that was going to be my last match just a few of us. I want to go out there and perform at the best. I might be able to do 95%. Could I cash a check and make some money, but it would be anitclimatic. I love the WWE fans and SC fans, but WM 32 looms and I think that's a great place to raise some hell doing something, but not wrestling in the ring."

Austin: "There were so many, I got to throw Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in there and Bret "The Hitman" Hart in there. Ricky Steamboat. Me and Rock are great friends. We don't send texts and call each other, but years could go by and we'll see each other and hug each other and nothing ever changed."

On which wrestlers sold the Stone Cold Stunner best:

Austin: "Scott Hall, but the Rock, the way he used to flop around. I never knew where he was going to end up. It added to the magnitude of the match. It was very animated. Me, the guy giving it, Rock hands down."

On who would win an Oklahoma drill between himself at linebacker and The Rock at running back:

Austin: "Oh hell no. Rock you got to do the JOB on that one. Rock is not going to score on me."

On his dream matchup, past or present:

Austin: "Brock Lesnar or John Cena. Brock because he's so physically dominant. Cena I have so much respect for him. We're not going to do that business. There won't be a match."

On what he would change about his career:

Austin: "I wouldn't have walked out when they asked me to wrestle Brock Lesnar in Atlanta. I took my ball and went home. That would be the only thing I would change. If I could have avoided that pile driver, I might have had 4-5 years more in the business."
