Watch: Woman rants about 'the hood' and 'white, normal people' at the Kessler

Last Thursday at Lee Ann Womack's second of two nights performing at Dallas' Kessler Theater, management asked two women to leave the venue because they were being disruptive. What followed was a caught-on-video rant that is so insane, rambling and lengthy, it's been making the social-media rounds like crazy in Dallas this week.

Jeff Liles, who is the artistic director of the Kessler, shot the vast majority of the video and posted it on his personal Facebook page on Sunday.  It has more than 230,000 views and growing. You can see the rant in its entirety here. It starts with both women who were asked to leave the theater, but one quickly (and wisely) vacates the scene:

Catch up on the day's news you need to know.

Or with:

  • The woman condescendingly calls Liles "babe" an awful lot, and cluelessly insults his dreadlocks
  • She makes sure to point out that the women sitting in front of her were lesbians, and therefore suspect somehow
  • She asserts repeatedly that Oak Cliff is "the hood," apparently never having gone to a lovely restaurant in Bishop Arts or taken a look at some of the home prices around there
  • Multiple threats to text LeeAnn Womack, who is supposedly their friend, about never coming to such a terrible venue again
  • Multiple instances of the woman's friends yelling at her to leave, already

If you couldn't make it through the entire rant (understandable), make sure you skip ahead to the end.  If you want to know more about the incident, Central Track has details from Liles.
