Texas musicians Leon Bridges and Gary Clark Jr. performed together in Australia

Editor's note: This story has been updated to include video from Clark's concert.

Considering they're both from Texas and lauded as modern revivalists of blues and soul music, it was only a matter of time before Leon Bridges and Gary Clark Jr. made musical magic happen. That moment recently occurred not on Texas soil, but Down Under.

Both men are slated for a run of tour dates in Australia to kick off the new year and crossed paths while there. Bridges posted numerous photos on social media as well as a video of the two having an impromptu jam session.

Then Monday, Bridges and saxophonist Jeff Dazey joined Clark at the Sydney Opera House for "Shake," off the Austin musician's latest album, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim.

As far as collaborations go, we definitely approve of this one. Here's to hoping they bring it stateside.
