The Nintendo World Championships are returning for their 25th anniversary, and you can watch them live in the video player above (or at this link, if the player isn't working for you for some reason).

One of the eight cities that hosted qualifying rounds was Dallas, and the winner from that event will be competing for the grand prize today.

OK, so the Dallas winner, Jordan DeMarco, is actually from Alabama, but ... close enough, right? We can still root for him. Besides, it's sure to be a good competition, and there are bound to be some surprises that Nintendo has in store for the live presentation.
