'Star Wars: Battlefront' gets a November release date; Here's the first trailer

Are you sick of Star Wars yet? When it feels like the entire Internet is doing nothing but talk about that new trailer this weekend, I wouldn't blame you (I'd just watch it again instead).

But hey, how about another Star Wars trailer?

EA has announced a release date for the long-awaited Star Wars: Battlefront (the third game in the series, but the first crack at it from EA): November 17. It's coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from the developers at DICE -- the same folks behind the Battlefield games.

Like previous games in the series, Battlefront will allow you to take part in iconic Star Wars battles on locations like Hoth, as well as let you pilot classic ships like a TIE Fighter or the Millennium Falcon.

Players will also be getting some free downloadable content after the game launches, and you might be able to guess why. On December 8 (or a week earlier if you pre-order the game) Battlefront owners will get The Battle of Jakku. " Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens," a press release says.
