TV channel will go blue Jan. 21 by airing nine hours of Cowboys as a consolation prize

The Dallas Cowboys may be out after a loss to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, but they aren't down.

One television station in North Texas is making sure of it.

TXA 21 will rebrand itself "BLUE 21" on Jan. 21 to help Cowboys fans drown out their cries of sorrow with a celebration of their favorite team. The station will broadcast nothing but Cowboys coverage from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. The channel is an over-the-air station that can also be found online at CBSDFW.com.

The schedule starts with Dallas Cowboys: Season of Change at 1 p.m. Included will be The Jason Garrett Show at 2; Cowboys Game Day Special: Cowboys Quarterback Show at 2:30; "Deep Blue Marathon," which will be a four-hour block of documentaries about the team; The Jason Garrett Show again at 7; Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Calendar Experience at 7:30; and a repeat of Season of Change at 8.
