Fox News Channel announced Tuesday that President-elect Donald Trump will sit for an interview during the Super Bowl LI pre-game show.

The pre-game show is scheduled to begin at about 3 p.m. FNC's Bill O'Reilly will conduct the interview earlier at the White House.

The network says the duo will cover "an array of topics."

An extended version of the interview will air during The O'Reilly Factor at 7 p.m. Feb. 6. on Fox News Channel. After it airs, the complete interview will be online at foxnews.com.

Last year, CBS This Morning co-anchor Gayle King interviewed President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for the outgoing president's last pre-Super Bowl interview.  Obama had tips for his then-unknown successor, including about the woeful White House Wi-Fi.

O'Reilly has interviewed Obama as pre-game coverage twice since 2011 in the pre-Super Bowl interview that has become a tradition.
