You heard correctly: Steve Harvey will host the Miss Universe competition again.
Harvey gets a do-over after his blunder last year when he announced the wrong winner.
If you don't remember what happened the last time he put on the hosting tux, Harvey announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as winner. She had taken the crown and unleashed her pageant wave and then Harvey apologized and said she was really first runner-up.
The real winner was Miss Philippines: Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Harvey admitted his mistake, more than once. He even dedicated a series on his own talk show to speak with the women affected the most by the gaffe that made him meme-tastic and garnered him death threats.
And he talked about it some more on his talk show (2 p.m. daily on Ch. 5). Supermodel Ashley Graham will be his guest. Graham, who was the first "plus size" model to be featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, will be the backstage host.
"I'll be your curvy representative," she said on the show.
The contest, hopefully with bigger type on the card announcing the winner this year, will air live from The Philippines on Fox on Jan. 29.
Here's hoping they welcome the hardest working man in show business with open borders.
