Pentatonix might as well be the NBC house band.

The quintet set up residency Tuesday morning on Today, performing throughout the NBC news show.

It was a perfect setup for the Grammy-winning group's first holiday TV special that's scheduled to air Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. on NBC. Reba McEntire and fellow North Texan Kelly Clarkson will help the group spread cheer on A Pentatonix Christmas Special.

The group performed at American Airlines Center last month on their "2016 Pentatonix World Tour." And they also performed during NBC's Christmas at Rockefeller Center. And they released their third Christmas CD, A Pentatonix Christmas, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

The group stuck around through the 10 a.m. hour with Kathie Lee and Hoda.

Today knows and now you do, too: They're not going anywhere soon.
