Viewers can return to Stars Hollow, Conn., on Friday when Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres on Netflix. 

The highly anticipated reunion of fan favorite will be in four parts, each 90 minutes. The premiere date was announced in July after being talked about for months. 

Stars Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham return as Rory and Lorelai. Many co-stars return, too, including Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop and Rory boyfriends Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us) and Jared Padalecki (Supernatural).

SUNDAY

2016 American Music Awards: Sting will receive the Award of Merit but Drake, just by virtue of his record 13 nominations, will be the night's big winner. 7 p.m. ABC

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League - Gotham City Breakout: While Batman, Batgirl and Nightwing go away, the Justice League wrestles with their rogues gallery in Gotham. 6 p.m. Cartoon Network

The Librarians: This winning series premieres Season 3 with a fight against Chaos, the Egyptian god of, not everyday life. 7 p.m. TNT
