Longing for the days when Luke's Diner on Gilmore Girls was one of your favorite hangouts? Wednesday, Oct. 5, is your lucky day.

Netflix releases 'Gilmore Girls' sequel trailer, announces release date

Gilmore Girls fans across the country will get to celebrate what's being called the Gilmoreversary, the debut of the series, by going to one of five cafes in North Texas that are being turned into the series' coffee-ing hole.

Netflix, which will release its 'Gilmore Girls' revival next month, is priming the pump with "Luke's Coffee Day."

Pick your coffee at one of these spots: Buon Giorno, 915 Florence St., Fort Worth; Coffee House Cafe, 6150 Frankford Road, Dallas; i Java & Chai, 1820 Coit Road #138, Plano; Method Coffee, 1623 N. Hall St., Suite 101, Dallas; and Savor Coffee Bar & Eatery, 1101 E. Bardin Road #101, Arlington.

Festivities, including branded items for sale, will start at 7 a.m. Lorelai, famously not a morning person, will not be there.

The four 90-minute chapters of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will start streaming on Friday, Nov. 25.

More than 200 diners nationwide and in Canada will participate. A free cup of coffee might be yours for the taking between 7 a.m. and noon.

Keep up with more comings and goings and find a full list of cafes at the Stars Hollow website: townofstarshollow.org.
