Steve Harvey helps 6-year-old Dallas girl plan her Steve Harvey-themed birthday party

A wish came true on Monday for a 6-year-old Dallas girl.

Maeve Madine had a bit of a problem planning a party for her Oct. 15th birthday. So she wrote to talk-show host Steve Harvey to ask for help. She got that and more on the Sept. 26 episode of Steve Harvey, at 2 p.m. on Ch. 5.

Harvey says people send him videos and letters all the time, but the handwritten letter from Maeve Madine had to be the "all-time most flattering."

In the letter, Maeve, noting that her "mom has no idea how to do that," asked the host for help with the theme of a party to celebrate her seventh birthday. The theme? Steve Harvey. (Perspective: I thought a Ghostbusters-themed party was hard.)

Cuteness overload ensued as a shy Maeve, or rather her mother, Joanna, talked to Harvey on the set of his show.

It turns out Maeve loves Harvey in another of his hosting gigs, Little Big Shots. So, Harvey did some platform diving and migrated Maeve's story to his talk show. Harvey said his birthday present to her was the visit to his show, but, wait, there was more. And that included "what every little baller needs," including a toy Rolls Royce.

The best thing ever? Steve presented her with a party game: Pin the Mustache on Steve.

I hope he's ready. Because, now, everyone will want one.
