What's sweeter than the season premiere of TLC's reality series Cake Boss? Watching it with some of the stars.

That's exactly what Dallas fans got to do Tuesday night when Joey Faugno, head baker and chief operations officer of Carlo's Bakery, and Chad Durkin, research and product development chef, stopped by the Carlo's Bakery on Preston Road. The bakery served its ever popular sugary treats and the boss man himself, Buddy Velastro, made an appearance via Facetime.

Now in its eighth season, Cake Boss chronicles the Carlo's Bakery crew's life in the insane world that is luxury cake decorating. Or perhaps more accurately, cake constructing. Velastro and company take on wild projects, building cakes as recreations of people, pool tables, animals, city skylines and more, some of which even move. Things don't get quite that crazy on the daily at Dallas bakery, but people waited hours when it first opened to get a taste, so we're guessing the desserts are good.
