Check out the first full trailer for DC's time-jumping 'Arrow' spin-off 'Legends of Tomorrow'

"I've seen men of steel die and dark knights fall," time traveler Rip Hunter (played by Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill) says, setting the tone for what could come in the first season of Legends of Tomorrow. The mid-season show, which debuts on The CW on January 21, is the latest DC Comics show to spin off of Arrow following last year's highly successful The Flash, and it stars a large number heroes (and villains) from both shows.

In the year 2166, dictator Vandal Savage has taken over the entire world. Hunter has formed a superteam consisting of The Atom, Firestorm, Hawkgirl and Hawkman, White Canary and (former?) villains Captain Cold and Heat Wave, and he plans to take them through time in an effort to stop the supervillain before can succeed in conquering the planet.

Before the debut, though, we'll be getting a two-episode Arrow and Flash crossover event on December 1 that should help lead into this new spin-off.

We've seen a glimpse of the show before, but this time we see the full cast in action and get a much better overview of what to expect from the series. It looks like it contains plenty of high-octane comic book fun that should keep Arrow and Flash fans busy while those shows are on break in early 2016.
